gOS is an AI computer built on macOS. Files, memory, tools, preferences and every judgment its user makes about what worked stay on that machine, inside Apple's security model: Secure Enclave, FileVault, sandboxing, signed code. Local sovereignty is enforced by the silicon rather than promised in a policy.

One machine learning on its own is worth little. A network of them is worth a great deal, and that is usually where the sovereignty goes, because coordination is normally bought by handing everything to a middle. gOS coordinates by emitting signed learning events. What leaves the machine is the lesson. The material it came from stays.

Nothing in that arrangement is a central point of control, and no operator can see across it. The person at each machine lives the experience and rules on the result, which makes them the oracle no model can synthesize. Open Epistemic Intelligence is the research program this layer answers to.
